Simply gather up the pad, throw it away, and place a new one down. Instructions for use: 1. Decide where to place the pad - it must be placed away from where your pet eats, drinks, or sleeps. 2. Unfold one pad from the package and allow your pet to sniff it to familiarize them with it’s scent. To prevent your pet from being afraid of the pad, praise them while they are investigating it. 3. Place the pad on the floor with the plastic side down and the absorbent (quilted) side up. 4. Lead your pet onto the pad so that they can fully smell the scented attractant. 5. Allow your pet to relieve themselves on the pad, then immediately reward them with either a treat or praise to reinforce this positive behavior. If they do not urinate on the first attempt, or if they urinate somewhere other than the pad, lead them back to the pad several more times until they are successful. 6. Dispose soiled pads and replace with a new one frequently.
