Description: American Bresse Hatching Eggs collected daily on our small farm. Parents are from the GreenFire line, 2017 import. For those unfamiliar with the Bresse, they are deemed "the most delicious chicken in the world". Bresse are the only chicken that develops "beef like" marbling. They are the white meat beef. Bresse are process age at 14-16 weeks old. Average weight will be 4-5 lbs. Bresse are also really good egg layers. Producing an average of 250 eggs a year. They are a large, not XL, cream to brown colored egg. Bresse are not really broody, so you will need an incubator or "mother hen" to hatch your eggs, if you choose. Bresse love to free range. They love grass and bugs. Ours are penned because of predator problems, but we do keep fodder planted in their run year round. To "finish" Bresse for processing, you need to add protein grains and dairy to their diet at least 7 days prior to doing so. We finish ours for 10 days. The "finish", just like beef, enhances the marbling veins that create the distinct flavor of the Bresse. Almost every hatching egg seller on Ebay wants you to leave feedback only on how you received your eggs. I understand that sellers can't be responsible for poor handling by USPS or faulty practices, or faulty incubators, of the buyer. With that said, I have bought hundreds of eggs of Ebay. There are great sellers that produce hatch rates of 80% or higher. Then there are imposters that want great feed back for delivered egg condition only, because they are selling you eggs that aren't any good and they know it. I only will ask for feed back on hatch rate. I will do my best to package the eggs appropriately for shipping and the potential lack of care of the USPS. If you receive cracked or broken eggs, send me a picture and I will gladly replace them for you. I'm so confident of our hatch rate, that if you hatch less than 50% of your order, I will replace the entire order. You just pay for the shipping. I will require a picture of all of the eggs on day 21 and the incubator that you used to hatch them. If you aren't sure about the quality of your incubator or what you should do to get eggs to hatch, PLEASE MESSAGE US BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. We will be glad to offer our guidance to get you started. On our farm we use a cabinet incubator and our hatch rate stays at 90% plus. Listing is for 12 eggs plus, if we have extras available. We look forward to adding your family farm to our friends list of our farm. Thank you in advance for the opportunity to earn your trust and business. County Line Hatchery. Cass County, Mo.
