Description: This is a wonderful olde antique glass apothecary jar with the best early green painted tin lid. If you are familiar with Jimmie Cramer's book Seasons At Seven Gates Farm there are some similar ones in there. Check out all the pics for a better description. It is a unique design with a seam and a few bubbles in the glass from being hand done. The lid has wear on the paint which is older and not newly done. Overall this measures about 8 inches tall and about 4 1/2 inches wide across the bottom. There is minor chipping around the top rim from years of use as it's an authentic olde one and not a new repro like some you find these days. I have another one listed that matches this if you want to take a peek and want a matching set.This one has more bubbles in it than the other one. They were found together in Ohio a few years ago and are much better in person than the pics could ever show you.
