Don's Speed Shop T-Shirts. Don's shop is the oldest continuously operating Speed Shop in New England established in 1953. Don Gallant was a pioneer New England drag racer located in Connecticut starting in the early fifties. In the 1950's thru the 1960's during the early golden years of drag racing the shop campaigned 3 different top fuel dragsters along with a 1970 pro-stock Chevy Nova in the seventies, and is home to legendary "Gold Rush" 27' ford A-street roadster and "Golden Gasser " 55 Chevy which were featured in numerous publications and auto-shows of the late 50's- 60's.
