The reverse depicts the ecosystem for rivers and lakes showing the axolotl with trees in the background in Xochimilco, in Mexico. The banknote contains a clear window watermark with the denomination. It also bears a simulated security thread with printed 50 PESOS. It is 65 x 125 mm and is signed by Galia Borja Gomez and Alejandro Alegre Rabiela. This banknote is in uncirculated condition.
