Description: RARE LARGE 1920s Orange Crush Advertising Lighthouse Porcelain single-sided SIGN antique Dan Morthy Auctions sold similar sign for $6500 (with buyer’s premium included) in 2010. 1925. Very rare. In the 1920s these signs were put on large pillars with caution lights on top. They were thought to look like lighthouses and were placed on the edge of towns as to make an impressive impact on people entering the area. Boldly graphic, very rare to find, and quite impressive despite of small rusty spots mostly on the outer frame. Displays wonderfully. Size 24.5”x 59”
