Description: Actual Measurements Bust 34 inches. This neckline calls for some push up and some cleavage which could allow for a slightly larger bust size. Waist 28 inches Hips are full Total length 46 inches Outside shoulder to waist 16 inches Across the back shoulders 13 inches There is not a lot of room in the side seams to let this dress out. To make sure something will fit, take measurements from a piece of clothing that fits you well and use those measurements to compare. If you use your personal actual measurements, you should always figure needing two inches extra for breathing room. Label- No label. This is home sewn. The seamstress was pretty good, but this does not look professionally sewn. Closes with hook and eye down to back of the top. The skirt back seam is open for 5.5 inches, below the waist. This open seam is overlaps itself and is not seen when worn. Fabric is a cream satin with a floral pattern. There is pink chiffon with silver accents on the sleeve. The skirt is a hot pink nylon acetate. Black velvet bows on the front. The top is lined in cream cotton. The skirt is unlined. Condition This has been previously worn. There is a stain on the inside back neck I show in a photo. In that photo, you can see some writing that looks like initials. This could be a theater costume piece. The pink chiffon on the sleeves has some fade. The back skirt seam has a hole as shown in photos. There is also a tear repair on the back skirt seam as shown in photos. These issues are not seen when worn. There is a scrape on the satin fabric as shown in photo. Overall, the dress is well made. The side bustles are all hand sewn which is not an easy feat. What Diane Likes About This DressThis is a pretty good attempt at a 1880s, gilded era reproduction. I very much like the cream and floral fabric, accented with the black bows. It feels very authentic. I am not so sure about the hot pink skirt, but it does make the dress stand out. It would read very well on the stage where you want things to be a little brighter. This would just be a fun dress to wear and experience. If you like shows like "The Gilded Age" or "Catherine the Great" or even Queen Charlotte in "Bridgerton".
