It is a green note that is dated 2008, bears the signature of Dr. Gideon Gono, and measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side features the Chiremba Balancing Rocks and the Zimbabwe Bird in color-shifting ink. Its reverse side shows the Kariba Dam and an elephant. The note has no security thread and no watermark. However, it has a 3-mm gold-to-green optically variable ink stripe with repeating RBZ and a serial number with an AA-prefix.
